{"id":638,"date":"2019-03-18T14:39:00","date_gmt":"2019-03-18T14:39:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/veronars.org\/?page_id=638"},"modified":"2021-02-26T22:01:49","modified_gmt":"2021-02-26T22:01:49","slug":"about-us","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/veronars.org\/index.php\/about-us\/","title":{"rendered":"ABOUT US"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Who We Are<br><\/strong>The Verona Rescue Squad is a volunteer non-profit organization, providing Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to the Township of Verona. &nbsp;We are supported by voluntary donations from the residents and businesses of Verona as well as from the&nbsp;people we serve. &nbsp;Care is provided by trained Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs). &nbsp;We respond 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. &nbsp;Our services are provided free of charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mission Statement<\/strong><br>The mission of the Verona Rescue Squad is to maintain an ambulance and rescue service free of charge to the citizens and residents of the Township of Verona and to cooperate with the police department, fire department, other town agencies and neighboring squads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Membership<\/strong><br>All persons 16 years of age and older are eligible to apply.
